Comparing the two is a bit difficult, but I’ve tried to break down the two if you match up the same accessories.

The fact is that if you bundle them up, the difference between the two is very negligible. The question really comes down to if you are wanting the carrying case and fancy rubber edging. If you don’t need those, then the Flame King wins, with the combo coming in at about $90. To me that is the way to go.

Which is better the Ignik vs Flame King propane tank?

I don’t have access to some really high tech testing equipment and a couple of tanks to destroy, but I’m betting that the results would be that they are damn near the same. Some people have pointed out that it is highly unlikely that Ignik has set up their own manufacturing plant and are likely buying tanks from a manufacturer and rebranding them.
