On my last stop there, the cell coverage for both T-mobile and Verizon was non-existent. On the upside, you can connect to the wi-fi in the lodge and they have decently fast internet.

Rooms At The Lodge

Don’t want to stay outside? Don’t need all the amenities of a private lodge? Then grab one of the rooms at Whistlin’ Jack’s hotel rooms.

While they are all nicely updated, mostly with queen beds, but don’t be planning on hanging out and watching Netflix as there aren’t any TVs.

Room rates vary, but are about $220 a night.

Private Lodges

Want to hide away from the world? Then get yourself one of the lodges at Whistlin’ Jack’s. These are eclectic cabins that are vintage but nicely updated.

I definitely wouldn’t call these rustic, as they have power and running water, but there is no Internet or TV, so they are a perfect getaway.

While I haven’t been in all of them, it looks like they have an assortment of sizes with everything from a basic setup with a fridge, microwave, and coffee pot, on up to units with a full kitchen.

In other words they have a cabin for couples looking for a quiet weekend away, as well as cabins to bring the whole family.
